CTIA Wireless, Las Vegas - April 5, 2006 -- Beatnik, Inc., the leading provider of structured audio software solutions for mobile devices, today announced that the Beatnik Audio Engine (BAE) has been licensed by Sagem Communication and is shipping in their latest audio-enabled mobile phones. The Beatnik Audio Engine enables Sagem Communication to provide high fidelity music synthesis and audio playback across their product range whilst supporting the key open standard file formats required in today's multimedia-rich devices.

The flexible, pure software BAE enables the real time generation of high quality audio by any application on the phone, including polyphonic and Hi-Fi ringtones, music players, multimedia messaging and interactive games.
